Don Tapscott – tweetup in Brazil

Don Tapscott is one of the best known digital media experts in the world today. When US President, Barack Obama, first announced he was going to run for the White House, he announced that his campaign would be following the principles outlined in Don’s book ‘Wikinomics’.

Don has recently published a new book called Macrowikinomics that takes the wiki principles further, applying them to politics, leadership, and several major industries.

Don is giving a speech tonight at the Jockey Club in São Paulo to celebrate the 25th birthday of Grupo TV-1 and while he was in town he arranged a tweetup in a cafe, to pull together his Twitter friends from Brazil in one place for a conversation over coffee.

IT Decisions secured an exclusive video interview with Don Tapscott in São Paulo, which will be online soon, but in the meantime here are my own thoughts on the conversation that took place during the tweetup today.
